This section describes Google Workspace across the FEWS NET project and describes features, connect, create, and access features.
Google Workspace for FEWS NET offers the full set of Google tools to connect and collaborate with colleagues, create what you need and access files and more through advanced search - from anywhere on virtually any platform, including:
Less email, more Chat. For internal and team conversations, Google Chat can be easier and more responsive for our need for quick turn around conversations. The conversations are also saved outside individual email inboxes for ongoing access.
Google Meet helps connect global teams. From the US, Europe, and Africa, we use Google Meet for seamless, stable online meetings. Our teams can more easily stay on track and solve emerging problems.
Google Docs and Sheets simplify and synchronize document creation. Real time edits, infinite versions and central access have all improved our efficiency in coauthoring documents and capturing meeting minutes and follow-up actions.
Google Drive cloud file storage with Team Drives works well for flexible access to all your files. Drive allows us to create managed file folders for consistent storage and gives individuals the flexibility to store and use files as makes sense for specific situations. All on a globally accessible, searchable and secure platform.
The section below offers a brief overview of the benefits of each tool and a link to the relevant Help Center to help you learn how to benefit from Google Workspace. As FEWS NET moves forward we will continue to develop this support center and investigate new ways Google Workspace can help FEWS NET achieve the overall goals supporting improved early warning.

Google Chat makes it easy for teams to be able to get their work done in one place. From direct messages to group conversations, Chat helps teams collaborate easily and efficiently. With dedicated, virtual rooms to house projects over time — plus threaded conversations — Chat makes it simple to track progress and follow up tasks.
Upload items from Drive, collaborate on Docs, Sheets, or Slides, join online meetings with Google Meet, or use Google’s powerful search to look up room members, past conversations, and shared files. Drive bot lets you know when files are shared with you, comments are made, or when people request access to your docs. And Meet bot integrates directly with Calendar to schedule meetings for you.
